''Where is everyone?'' Cody asked wondering where everyone was
''Well they just went out to the shops to but a birthday cake '' Leo answered
Later the boys started their homework. As always Leo had to help Cody otherwise Cody would go tot heir parents and ask for help and they didn't have time to help him as they were focusing on Demon a lot.
''Your boring!'' Cody said
Looking annoyed Leo relied ''Your annoying''
Soon everyone came and it was time to celebrate Demon's birthday
Demoed aged up pretty well. He looked exactly like his mother.
After his birthday his parents took hi to the hospital as it was time for the doctor to help him.
''Hello Mr & Mrs Mart I hope your ready'' The doctor said
''Yes doctor we're ready..don't hurt hi too much'' River said with a worried expression on her face
''Don't worry Mrs Mart the injection will not hurt'' The doctor said picking up Demon and smiling.
River sighed and said ''Do you think we're doing the right choice?''
''I think so...its gong to help him'' Jacob replied
''I hope so'' River said looking toward the room where Damon was with the doctor.
After 30 minutes of waiting the doctor came out with Demon
'' All done...He was very brave I tell you'' He said smiling
'' You done this quickly'' Jacob said
''Why yes this process doesn't take long at all'' said the doctor
There was a minute of silence in the room. The doctor gave Demon some toys to play.
''Your son he will be fine'' The doctor began to talk ''But there is a problem...You see Mr &rs Mart I'm not going to be here for long as the Volturi they are the leaders of my world and they don't like to see vampires helping humans so you would have to over to Hidden Springs. I strongly suggest you do that''
Looking confused Jacob and River looked at each other.
''Move? That's a long way away from here'' River asked
Jacob wondered ''how is he going to keep and eye on our son''
''Don't worry Mrs Mart I have set up everything for you so you don't need to be worried about a house and Mr Mart my coven will be there so they will keep an eye on your son''' The doctor replied
And so the family took the doctor's advise and moved to Hidden Springs!
Once the family moved in everyone took up a hobby. Liam and Leo took up chess.
And Lulu started to play the piano.
Cody took up painting.
''Si why wasn't Leo at dinner?'' Liam asked ''He never misses dinner'' he also added
River singed and said''Dad he misses dinner all the time now''
''Really I haven't notice''
''Dad can I ask you a favor?''
''Sure''
looking at her dad she asked ''Can you talk to Leo maybe he'll tell you why he is so distant''
Shaking his said Liam said ''No no never he is YOUR son and YOU should talk to him tht is a rule of being a parent''
After cleaning the dished River found Leo outside on the swings.
''So Leo how comes you never come to a family event like dinner? She asked him
''Mum I wasn't hungry alright'' Leo replied with a hard tone.
It was a sigh to River that she was annoying him and so she left him alone. She didn't want to be so distant from her son. River wished that Leo was ore closer to the family. Every morning she gets up she has hope that one day everything will be fine and that she wouldn't have to worry about anything.
''Dad!'' Cody shouted
Jacob sighed ''Yes Cody I saw the explosion''
''GRANDPA! DID YOU SEE IT!'' Cody shouted again
''Cody do not shout at your grandpa'' Jacob said looking crossed
''Sorry'' Cody replied
''Well that's it for me tonight I'm going to bed''Liam said
He went to his room and laid on his bed. Slowly he began to close his eyes. And that was the end of his life.
Everyone was heart broken. They couldn't believe that Liam was gone. Lulu was shattered into pieces. Leo was devastated. And river she couldn't believe that her father just passed away.
Leo still being devastated went to a viewing area to think. He thought of it as getting away from everything that was happening. Usually no one was here but this time there was.
''Hi Leo'' The women said
Leo was shocked! He thought that he misheard what the women said. He didn't know her name but somehow she did know his.
Leo didn't know what to do. He just came close to the women and broke down in tears.
''I'm so sorry'' He said with tears running down his face
''No problem Leo its good to cry sometimes you know to let it all out'' The women replied with a little smile on her face
''I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself I'm Mandy and the reason I know you name is that people have been gossiping about your family moving here and you know gossips speeds very quickly!''
Leo looked up at her and said''Nice to meet you Mandy''
Back at the house River was teaching Demon how to talk. By the end of the day Demon made process Even though it was slow it was still something. It made River extremely proud.
Jacob also started to teach Deon how to walk. He made some process which was good. Both of his parents were proud and they were thankful to the doctor who helped.
One month had passed since the family moved and since Liam passed away. Leo was a bit closer to his family. He started talking to his parents more often. His parents noticed how happy he became and sometimes asked him if he had a girlfriend. To that question Leo replied ''Seriously no!'' and every he said that he made his mum and dad laugh.
''So Mandy how come no one knows you around here?'' Liam said ''I mean you've lived her about 1 month now'' He added
''I like to keep things to myself'' she replied
Leo always wondered my Mandy never came out in the daytime. He thought that she was beautiful and a very sociable person so she wouldn't have a problem fitting in with everyone else.
''Leo there is a reason I don't come out in the daytime'' Mandy said looking up at the stars
''Well hat's the reason then?'' Leo asked looking at her golden eyes.
'''' I don't know if should tell you Leo...I mean don't take it personally I do trust you its just I'm worried what your going to think of me when I tell you'' She said looking at him.
''Oh I see...'' He said looking a bit hurt. ''I'm going see you tomorrow'' He added
Once He got home Leo received a call from his father telling him that the family is out and they will come in a while.
While going to his room he noticed that the backyard door was open. The door never is open when everone is out of the home.
He went to close it only to find Mandy sitting on the stairs
''I know that your hurt because of what I said but believe me I will tell you in time'' Mandy said
Leo just nodded. He always was fascinated how Mandy knew what he was thinking and feeling.
They went to the swing and talked about their dreams.
''Leo why don't you go out with your family?'' Mandy asked
''Why should I? I don't feel I belong with them'' He replied
''That's not true they love you''
''Oh yeah then why does everyone's attention on Demon?'' Leo said looking away.
''Leo can you promise me something?
''Yeah sure what is it?''
''Can you go to your grandmother's birthday for me please''
''For you ok I will. I promise''
Leo went to his grandmothers birhtday like he proised. He had a good time aswell.
Here is Lulu as an elder.
''Thank you for being here Leo'' River said with a grin on her face
''Mum its family'' Leo replied
After the party Leo met up with Mandy and they shared a hug
''Thank you for sticking to your promise and thank you for being with your family'' she whispered softly into his ear
''No thank you Mandy'' he whispered back
''I'm prod of you'' She said.
