Before Damon and Elena left they said their goodbyes to River and Jacob. River was happy that her son was going to France but she was also scared.
Because he was her youngest son and she worried more about him.
Damon and Elena arrived safety in France.
''So lets go explore!'' Damon said
''Damon no we need to find Alice and Vicki'' Elena answered
''Elena we came all the way from Hidden Springs to visit France! The city of love! They can wait a little''
''Well alright'' Elena finally agreed
First thing they did was go to by some hot chocolate. While they sat and drunk they talked about Alice and Vicki. Elena explained more about the vampire world.
After that they went to a gallery. They saw beautiful pictures and statues.
''There you are I've been looking for you'' Damon said
''Well you found me so can we go to find Alice?'' Elena said looking bored.
''Fine''
''Well what do you think?'' Elena said
Damon looked at her and he was breathless and speechless
''Damon? well what do you think?'' Elena asked again
''Beautiful'' Damon replied
''Here those are for you''
Elena was surprised. Shocked! ''Damon they are lovely'' She said
''So Elena could you like to come with me to-''
''The dance? Yes I will'' Elena said
As they walked through the doors everyone looked at them.
''Hey Alice they are here'' Vicki said
''Vicki I'm not stupid I can see them'' Alice answered
''Lets go to them'' Alice said. When she took a step forward Vicki stopped her.
''No wait let them enjoy their moment. They are young lets them enjoy!'' Vicki said
''Fine! You win!'' Alice said
They danced. Laughed and enjoyed the night.
After that they went outside to talk.
''Damon I'm Vicki and this is Ali-''
''Alice. Yeah Elena told me everything'' Damon said
''Is there something wrong? Wait there IS something wrong right?'' Damon said
''The coven is dead. Only Vicki and I survived. They killed the rest.'' Alice said
''They saved us to tell you their message'' Vicki said
''What's the message?'' Damon asked
''Be careful. That's the message'' Alice replied
''We need to to go away from her. They are going to come here son'' Vicki said
''We need to leave NOW!'' She added
''Right''
''Once they got back they didn't except to find what they saw
''Mum.Dad.'' said Demon with disbelief
''That means they are here'' Alice said
''You think?'' Vicki said
They found River and Jacob on the floor dead.
''Why woulld they do that?' Demon asked
''They are treating you''
''Demon all the answers are in the book. Why don't you go and find it in the library'' Alice said
''How will I find the book there is over a thousand there'' Demon said
''Oh Demon you will know what book it is''
''Can't you do it?'' Demon asked
''No only a Mart came'' Alice replied ''Now go and find it'' She added
Demon did as he was told. He looked all over the study to for the book.
Eventually he found it. Demon started to read it. Only then he understood his family history properly. On the very last page it read
''Demon if your reading this then you should know tonight you SHOULD kill Zane,Stella and Eric. They are the originals or the founders and Volturi. You will find the weapon on the next page. I knew this day would come. I would have done it myself years ago but I couldn't. So many of our family members dies because of me and I am truly sorry for that. I am sorry for your parents and for the death of you friend that will come soon. No one has ever found this letter only you did. Only you can kill them. You are the last generation of this family so make us proud!

Demon was still shocked from reading the letter that Sam wrote to him. He was more shocked to find out that he was the one that needed to kill the founders and Volturi. Elena came over to him and said what was written in the book. Demon's answered was ''It's a family secret''
Suddenly they heard screams from the house.
They came to see what the matter was. They found Alice and Vickie dead.
'' People are dying around me.
The next person could be Elena. I need to kill them before they kill the last thing that I have left''
Demon thought.
In the evening Demon and Elena went for a walk around the city.
On the way back they found themselves alone with 3 people standing in front of them.
''Demon! I'm Stella'' said the women waving
''This is Eric'' she said pointing to the man standing on the left
''and did is Zane'' Stella said pointing to the man on the right.
Stella took couple of steps forward.
''Yes I know who you are'' Demon said
''Oh did Sam talk about me in his stupid book?''
''How did you know about-''
''Honey I was there when he started writing it and since the book passed down generation to generation then you must have read it''said Stella. ''I want what's mine'' She added
''Oh yeah what's that?'' Damon asked
''Don#t play games with me boy. I've been around for decades'' She said taking a step towards Demon
''Don't hurt you ever dare hurt him'' Elena said
''Or what Elena are you going to kill me?''
''No but I am'' Demon answered the question.
He took out the weapon from his pocket that Sam said to use and rapidly stabbed her in the chest.
''You killed her!'' Elena shouted
''Yes'' Demon said
''You did the wrong thing son!'' Said Eric
A couple of minutes later Demon did the same to Eric.
''W-h-hat are you? You can't ill an original!'' Zane said in shocked and fear.
''I'm Demon Mart the great-great-great and so on grandson of Sam Mart! Yes I can kill an original with the Sam made against his kind'' Demon replied ''Now. Run. For. Your. Life''
When Demon said those 5 words Zane feared for his life and ran.
''You alright?'' Demon asked
''I'm fine. You?'' Elena replied
''Fine''
2 years passed and Elena was cured from being a vampire.
Also she and Demon were officially dating!
They would throw family parties and this family party was very special.
''Demon babe we have guest to attend too''
''I know Elena but I need to ask you something''
Demon got on one knee. Pulled out a box.
And he asked ''Elena will you marry me?''
''OH MY GOSH! DEMON YES!'' Elena replied with excitement.
And with that Demon put the ring on Elena's hand and they were engaged!
